The Analytics view toggle switches Advertising (paid performance) and Store & Business (MER commerce). Always available, no feature flag or admin gating.
Switch between Advertising and Store & Business
The top-left view toggle in
/analyticsswitches between two pills: Advertising (a bar-chart icon) and Store & Business (a shopping-bag icon). Both are always available — there is no feature flag, no admin gating, and no greyed-out state. Advertising shows paid-media performance attributed by the ad platforms; Store & Business shows blended, MER-centric commerce performance. Pick the view by the question you're answering.
Who is this for
Anyone deciding "which view should I use?" or wondering where a metric like MER or CPO lives.
How the toggle works
The toggle sits at the top-left of the controls bar, before the account selector.
Advertising
- Click the Advertising pill
- The KPI grid switches to paid-media metrics (Spesa ADV, CPM, CTR, ROAS, Acquisti, Vendite, CVR, and more)
- The charts below show Spend × ROAS by platform, CPM per platform over time, a per-account performance table, a CPA × Purchases scatter, and geo performance
Store & Business
- Click the Store & Business pill
- A store selector appears next to the toggle (choose one store or "All stores")
- The KPI grid switches to blended commerce metrics (MER, Fatturato, Spesa ADV, Ordini, CPO, AOV)
- The charts below show Spend × MER, Orders × AOV, top products, revenue vs refunds, the site funnel, CAC over time, traffic sources, and a custom Chart Builder
When to use which
Decision rule:
- Advertising: platform-attributed, media-buying lens
- Store & Business: blended, business-outcome lens (attribution-independent)
What stays the same when you switch
Switching views preserves:
- The selected date range and the Compare-to-previous toggle
- The platform + account selection
- The display-currency and timezone preferences
What changes:
- The KPI grid (each view has its own default cards and its own picker catalogue)
- The set of charts and tables below the grid
- The store selector, which appears only in the Store & Business view
No feature flag, no gating
Unlike some Wevion capabilities, the Analytics view toggle is a pure client-side switch. Neither view depends on an environment flag or a role permission beyond access to Analytics itself. If you can open /analytics, you can use both views.
Common mistakes
- Comparing platform ROAS (Advertising) to MER (Store & Business) as if equal: platform ROAS over-counts; MER is the blended truth. They will differ by design.
- Looking for MER, CPO, or AOV in the Advertising view: those blended and commerce metrics live in Store & Business.
- Ignoring the store selector: in Store & Business, "All stores" aggregates every connected store — pick a specific store to isolate its performance.
FAQ
Where is the view toggle in Wevion Analytics?
The view toggle is a two-pill control at the top-left of the /analytics controls bar: Advertising (bar-chart icon) and Store & Business (shopping-bag icon). Clicking a pill swaps the KPI grid and the charts below to that view. It sits before the platform + account selector, and in Store & Business a store picker appears next to it.
Do I need a feature flag or admin permission to use both views?
No. Both the Advertising and Store & Business views are always available to anyone who can open Analytics. There is no environment flag, no deployment setting, and no greyed-out state — the toggle is a client-side switch. This is different from gated capabilities elsewhere in Wevion that an admin must enable.
Which view should I use for budget and business decisions?
Use the Store & Business view for business-outcome decisions — MER, CPO, TACoS, and AOV tell you whether ad spend is profitably growing the store, independent of platform attribution. Use the Advertising view for media-buying decisions within and across platforms, such as which account or platform is delivering the best ROAS and CPM. Many reviews use both: Advertising to diagnose, Store & Business to confirm real impact.
What is preserved when I switch views?
Switching views keeps your date range, the Compare-to-previous toggle, your platform and account selection, and your currency and timezone preferences. Only the KPI grid, the charts and tables, and the store selector (Store & Business only) change. This lets you flip between the media lens and the business lens for the same period and accounts without re-selecting filters.
