The Wevion onboarding wizard collects 4 quick questions — business type, marketing stack, industry, then finish. Skippable.

The onboarding wizard — set up in a couple of minutes

The wizard at /onboarding/wizard asks up to 4 quick questions to personalize your workspace. Every step is skippable and editable later.

Who is this for

Every new Wevion user. The wizard runs automatically after account verification. If you skipped it then, you can re-open it anytime from your profile menu.

What the wizard collects

The wizard personalizes your workspace — the answers tailor the tips, dashboard, and suggested connectors Wevion shows you. It does not ask for business name, currency, timezone, or role; those live in Settings → Team → Workspace Defaults and are edited there.

StepQuestionWhy it matters
1Business typeAgency, DTC brand, media buyer, dropshipper, or other — shapes the experience
2Your marketing stackWhich platforms/tools you use today (multi-select) — pre-selects connectors
3Your industryE-commerce, lead gen, app install, finance, services, other — skipped for DTC and dropshipper
4FinishA short conditional summary, then you land on the dashboard

How to complete the wizard

Step 1: Pick your business type

Choose the option that best describes you: Agency, DTC brand, Media buyer, Dropshipper, or Other. This choice shapes the rest of the flow — DTC and dropshipper skip the industry question.

Step 2: Select your marketing stack

Multi-select the platforms and tools you already use, grouped into Advertising platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Snapchat, and more), Programmatic (Outbrain, Taboola, and more), Sales channels (Amazon, WooCommerce, Shopify), and Analytics (GA4). Pick "No ads yet" if you're just getting started. Your selection pre-selects the connectors surfaced later.

Step 3: Choose your industry

Pick one: e-commerce, lead generation, app install, finance, services, or other. This step is skipped automatically if you selected DTC brand or dropshipper in step 1.

Step 4: Finish

Wevion shows a short conditional summary tailored to your answers, then you land on /dashboard. The next thing to do is connect your first ad platform.

Enterprise path

If your organization is multi-workspace (large agencies, holding companies), you can use the enterprise onboarding at /onboarding/enterprise, which walks you through Organization, Workspaces, Teams, and a Summary. See Workspace, Team, Account — what's the difference for the hierarchy. Enterprise capabilities such as SSO/SAML and SCIM aren't self-serve toggles in the app — they're delivered as a dedicated configuration on request; talk to Sales to set them up.

What you'll see

After finishing the wizard:

  • The dashboard at /dashboard opens with placeholder cards (no data yet — no connected platforms)
  • A green banner at the top reads "Setup complete. Connect a platform to see your data."
  • The left sidebar is fully unlocked: Dashboard, Launch, Ads Manager, Rules, Creative Hub, Analytics, Wavo, Connect, Settings

Common issues

  • I skipped the wizard and want to set preferences now: open Settings → Team → Workspace Defaults for currency, timezone, and other defaults.
  • Wizard re-appears on login: it runs until it's completed or skipped. Finishing (or skipping) it dismisses it for good.
  • Wrong timezone in reports: change at Settings → Team → Workspace Defaults → Timezone. Reports recompute on the next 15-minute cycle.
  • Need to start over: contact support — wizard reset is not user-facing.

FAQ

Can I change my onboarding wizard answers later?

The wizard personalizes your experience (tips, dashboard, suggested connectors) rather than saving hard settings. Preferences like currency and timezone live in Settings → Team → Workspace Defaults and are editable there anytime. Changing your timezone there, for example, recomputes reports on the next 15-minute cycle.

What does the Wevion onboarding wizard actually configure?

The wizard asks up to four quick questions to tailor your experience: your business type (agency, DTC brand, media buyer, dropshipper, or other), your marketing stack (which platforms/tools you use today), and your industry — then a short finish step. The industry question is skipped automatically for DTC brands and dropshippers. It does not set business name, currency, timezone, or role; those live in Workspace Defaults.

Why does the onboarding wizard keep reappearing on login?

The wizard runs until it's completed or skipped. Finishing it — or clicking skip — dismisses it for good. After finishing you land on /dashboard, and the next step is to connect your first ad platform to bring in real data.

Does the default currency lock all my Wevion reports to one currency?

No. The default currency only affects mixed-currency aggregation in cross-channel reports. Wevion still pulls the per-account currency from each connected ad platform, so multi-currency analytics keep working. Set the currency you most often report in under Settings → Team → Workspace Defaults.

Is there an enterprise setup path in the onboarding wizard?

Yes. Multi-workspace organizations — large agencies or holding companies — can use enterprise onboarding at /onboarding/enterprise. It has five steps (Organization, Workspaces, Teams, Summary) and no Single Sign-On step, letting you configure your organization and workspace structure instead of the standard flow.

Steps

  1. Choose the option that best describes you: Agency, DTC brand, Media buyer, Dropshipper, or Other. This choice shapes the rest of the flow — DTC and dropshipper skip the industry question.
  3. Pick one: e-commerce, lead generation, app install, finance, services, or other. This step is skipped automatically if you selected DTC brand or dropshipper in step 1.
  4. Wevion shows a short conditional summary tailored to your answers, then you land on /dashboard. The next thing to do is connect your first ad platform.
