Audience Hub is Wevion's /audience-hub workspace to sync, create and compare Meta, Google and TikTok audiences, build lookalikes and check overlap.
Audience Hub — saved audiences, lookalikes and overlap
Audience Hub at
/audience-hubis one place to manage the saved audiences that live inside your ad accounts. It has five tabs — Meta, Google, TikTok, Insights and Comparison — where you sync existing audiences, create new custom / website / CRM audiences and lookalikes, upload customer lists, check audience overlap, explore demographic breakdowns and compare audiences on real performance. The audiences you build here become targeting options in the campaign creator.
Who is this for
Media buyers who build and reuse audiences across platforms and want a single view of what exists, how audiences overlap, and which ones actually perform — instead of digging through each ad manager.
Before you start
- Connected, authorized ad accounts: each tab reads and writes audiences on the platform, so the account must be connected with valid permissions. A banner appears if the token is missing, expired or the platform isn't supported for a given action.
- Select an account first: every tab starts by picking an ad account (or a TikTok advertiser). Actions stay disabled until you do.
- PII responsibility: uploading customer lists means handling personal data — Wevion hashes and sends it to the platform, but you're responsible for having consent. A privacy note sits at the bottom of the page.
The platform tabs (Meta, Google, TikTok)
Each platform tab (apps/frontend/src/pages/audience-hub/audience-hub-page.tsx) works the same way:
- Pick the account from the selector.
- Sync to pull the latest audiences from the platform into Wevion.
- Create a new audience from the + menu.
- Read the table: name, type, approximate size, status and origin.
What you can create per platform:
- Meta — Custom audience, Website audience (needs a pixel ID), and Lookalike (from an existing audience). You can upload a CSV customer list into a custom audience and delete audiences. Dynamic-product (DPA) audiences are read-only.
- Google — CRM user list (customer match) and Lookalike / similar list from an existing user list.
- TikTok — audience from a CSV, and Lookalike from an existing audience.
Meta audience statuses like "This audience is ready for use" are localized in the table so you know at a glance whether an audience is usable or too small.
Overlap matrix (Meta)
On the Meta tab, once you have at least two audiences, open the overlap view to build an overlap matrix (apps/frontend/src/pages/audience-hub/components/overlap-matrix.tsx). Pick 2–5 audiences and Wevion shows the share of people each pair has in common, colour-coded:
Use it to avoid running near-identical audiences against each other (which drives up costs). Lookalike audiences are excluded from the matrix.
Insights tab
The Insights tab shows audience breakdowns for a platform: choose a breakdown of age & gender, geography or device (device shown as a pie). It works for Meta, Google and TikTok, with Taboola limited to geo. Use it to understand who a saved audience actually reaches before spending on it.
Comparison tab
The Comparison tab lets you select two or more saved audiences on a platform and a date range, then compares them on real delivery: spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, CPA and CTR. This is how you decide which saved audience to scale and which to retire.
Common issues
- A red banner says the token is missing or expired: reconnect the platform in Integrations, then reload the tab. Actions stay blocked until the account is authorized.
- "Not supported" banner: that create/sync action isn't available for the selected platform — use a supported one.
- Create is greyed out: you haven't selected an account, or (for lookalikes/overlap) you don't yet have enough source audiences. Sync first.
- A Meta audience won't upload or delete: DPA (dynamic product) audiences are read-only; only custom audiences accept CSV uploads.
- "Audience too small": the platform reports the audience isn't usable in a campaign yet — grow the source list before targeting it.
Best practices
Sync before you build
Sync pulls the current state from the platform so you're not creating duplicates or acting on stale sizes.
Check overlap before scaling
Run the overlap matrix before launching multiple audiences in the same account — red/amber pairs compete against each other and waste budget. Pair this with AI audience saturation.
Let Comparison pick your winners
Compare audiences on CPA and CTR over a real window rather than gut feel, then scale the top performer and retire the rest.
FAQ
What is the Audience Hub in Wevion?
It's the /audience-hub workspace for managing saved audiences across Meta, Google and TikTok in one place — syncing existing audiences, creating custom / website / CRM audiences and lookalikes, uploading customer lists, checking overlap, exploring demographic insights and comparing audiences on performance.
How do I create a lookalike audience?
Open the platform's tab (Meta, Google or TikTok), select the account, then use the + Create menu and choose the lookalike/similar option. Lookalikes are built from an existing source audience, so you need at least one saved audience first. Google calls these "similar" user lists.
What does the overlap matrix tell me?
For 2–5 Meta audiences it shows how much each pair overlaps in membership, colour-coded red (≥50%, heavy), amber (25–49%) and green (<25%). High overlap means the audiences largely duplicate each other, so running them separately makes them compete and inflates costs.
Why can't I edit or delete some audiences?
Dynamic-product (DPA) audiences are managed by the platform and are read-only in Wevion, so uploads and deletes are disabled for them. Only custom audiences accept CSV customer-list uploads.
