Wevion Strategic Intelligence has 4 tabs: AI strategic Report, Channel mix reallocation, Audience saturation and Seasonal budget advisor.

Strategic Intelligence — channel mix, saturation, seasonal moves

Strategic Intelligence lives at /strategic-intelligence in Wevion. It has 4 tabs: Report (AI strategic report), Channel mix (current allocation vs suggested budget shifts), Audience saturation (adset fatigue signals), and Seasonal (upcoming events plus a budget advisor). It turns account performance, audience pressure, channel mix, and budget signals into strategic next moves. Backed by apps/backend/src/routes/api/strategic-details.route.ts and gated globally by AI Native (AI_NATIVE_ENABLED), which is on by default.

Who is this for

Media buyers, managers, owners, and admins deciding what to do next — where to move budget, which audiences are burning out, and which seasonal windows to prepare for.

The 4 tabs

TabWhat it shows
ReportAI strategic report for the selected period (daily or weekly), with a period switcher and a date dropdown
Channel mixCurrent spend allocation per channel vs suggested percentages, with reasoning
Audience saturationAdsets showing saturation / fatigue signals, with severity and suggestions
SeasonalUpcoming public holidays and commerce events, plus a seasonal budget advisor

Each tab remembers its own state, and the Report tab adds the period and history controls shared across all Intelligence pages.

Report tab

The Report tab renders the strategic intelligence report. Use the Daily / Weekly switcher and the date dropdown to move between periods and review history. Because the report is AI-generated it carries a status (ready, generating, empty, or failed) and records the model used; when a source lacks signal, the report explains why instead of showing a blank. See int-104 Intelligence reports for the full report model.

Channel mix tab

The Channel mix panel shows, for a date range:

  • Current allocation per channel — spend, conversions, and current percentage of budget.
  • Suggested allocation — a suggested percentage per channel with a short reason.
  • Reasoning and a source-confidence score, plus an optional action you can hand to Wavo.

It runs in one of two modes — report (derived from the latest strategic report) or fallback (computed from live data when no report is available) — so you always get an allocation view.

Audience saturation tab

The saturation table surfaces adsets where Wevion detects audience saturation: severity (for example warning or critical), the signals behind it, a root cause, a confidence percentage, and a suggested fix. From these signals you can dismiss an alert or snooze it, so the list stays focused on what still matters.

Seasonal tab

The Seasonal tab combines two forward-looking sources:

  • Upcoming events — public holidays (sourced from a public-holiday calendar) and commerce events relevant to your account's market geography, each with a countdown.
  • Budget advisor — seasonal budget-reserve suggestions derived from your stored seasonal patterns: for each upcoming window, the expected CPM lift, a rationale, and preparation steps.

Opportunities and recommendations

Underneath the tabs, Strategic Intelligence maintains two prioritized lists:

  • Strategic opportunities — ranked by an opportunity score, each with a title, summary, evidence, and a suggested action. You can move an opportunity through its lifecycle (open → converted / dismissed / archived) or snooze it for 1, 7, or 30 days.
  • Strategic recommendations — scored, prioritized recommendations you can mark applied, dismissed, or archived.

A single strategic context call bundles the latest brief, opportunities, recommendations, budget advisor, and channel mix so the page loads its whole picture at once.

Availability and roles

  • Route: /strategic-intelligence. Gated by AI Native (AI_NATIVE_ENABLED), on by default — there is no separate kill switch for this page.
  • Reads: available to roles with view access.
  • Status changes (opportunity/recommendation lifecycle, snooze): owner, admin, manager, media buyer.
  • The daily server job generates the strategic report automatically, so a current report is usually ready when you open the tab.

Wavo and Strategic Intelligence

Strategic Intelligence and Wevion's AI assistant Wavo work on the same signals. Opportunities and channel-mix actions can carry an AI prompt you hand to Wavo to act on, and Wavo can reference strategic context when it answers. See the Wavo AI assistant guide.

FAQ

What does the Channel mix tab recommend?

Wevion's Channel mix tab compares your current budget split — spend, conversions, and percentage per channel — against a suggested split, with a reason for each shift and a source-confidence score. It runs in report mode when a strategic report exists, or in fallback mode computed from live data otherwise, so you always see an allocation view even before the first report is generated.

How does Wevion detect audience saturation?

Wevion's Audience saturation tab flags adsets showing fatigue signals and grades each one by severity, such as warning or critical, alongside a root cause, a confidence percentage, and a suggested fix. You can dismiss an alert once handled or snooze it to keep the list focused. These same saturation signals also feed the Intelligence Hub and Wavo.

What is the seasonal budget advisor?

Wevion's seasonal budget advisor reads your stored seasonal patterns and upcoming events — public holidays and commerce dates for your market geography — and, for each upcoming window, estimates the CPM lift, gives a rationale, and lists preparation steps. It is a planning aid on the Seasonal tab, helping you reserve budget and prep creative before demand and auction costs move.

Do I need to turn Strategic Intelligence on?

No. Strategic Intelligence runs under Wevion's AI Native capability, which is enabled by default, so the page has no separate kill switch. If your role has view access you can open /strategic-intelligence and read the report, channel mix, saturation, and seasonal tabs. Acting on opportunities or recommendations requires an owner, admin, manager, or media buyer role.

What is the difference between an opportunity and a recommendation?

In Wevion, a strategic opportunity is a scored, evidence-backed situation worth acting on, with a lifecycle of open, converted, dismissed, or archived, and it can be snoozed for 1, 7, or 30 days. A strategic recommendation is a scored, prioritized suggested action you mark applied, dismissed, or archived. Both appear in Strategic Intelligence and can be handed to Wavo with a ready-made prompt.
