Analytics V2 overview — Advertising and Store & Business views
Analytics V2 is the current version of Wevion's
/analyticspage. It replaces the legacy widget-grid dashboard with two purpose-built views — Advertising (paid-performance metrics attributed by each ad platform) and Store & Business (blended, MER-centric metrics that combine your store revenue with ad spend). Both views share one controls bar (mode toggle, store selector, platform + account cascade, edit mode, date range with period comparison, and export) and a configurable KPI grid. It is enabled byANALYTICS_V2_ENABLED, which is on by default; settingVITE_ANALYTICS_V2_ENABLED=falsefalls back to the legacy analytics page.
Who is this for
Mediabuyers running weekly and monthly performance reviews, e-commerce operators tracking real return on ad spend (MER, CPO), and admins auditing account and store health. Anyone who needs aggregated trend and KPI data rather than row-level edits (those live in Ads Manager).
The two views
Analytics V2 opens on a single page and you switch between two views with the mode toggle pill at the top left.
The Advertising view is detailed in an-131; the Store & Business view in an-132.
The controls bar
Every view shares the same header controls:
- Mode toggle — Advertising ⇄ Store & Business.
- Store selector — shown only in Store & Business; defaults to "All stores" (team-wide aggregate). See an-132.
- Platform + account cascade — pick platforms and ad accounts, with search; staged and applied on "Apply" (an-135).
- Edit mode — the Modifica button turns the KPI grid editable (add/remove KPIs, then Salva layout or Annulla).
- Date range + comparison — the date picker with quick periods (last 7/14/30/90 days, this week/month, last month, YTD) and a "compare to previous period" toggle that adds a delta to each KPI.
- Export (Esporta) — downloads the active view's daily data as CSV or Excel (an-136).
The configurable KPI grid
Below the controls, each view renders a 4-column KPI grid. Each card shows the metric label, an info tooltip explaining the formula and data source, the value, and — when comparison is on — a delta versus the previous period. In edit mode you can remove cards or open the KPI picker to add extras from that view's KPI catalogue. See an-133.
Currency and timezone
Both views respect your currency and timezone preferences. When set to a specific currency or timezone (rather than "account"), the value is passed to the metrics queries so figures are converted and bucketed accordingly. Store & Business KPIs like MER and CPO combine store revenue with converted ad spend for a consistent comparison.

How V2 differs from the legacy analytics
Best practices
Use the Advertising view for platform optimization
When the question is "how is Meta or TikTok performing?", the Advertising view gives you platform-attributed ROAS, CPM and CPA per account.
Use Store & Business for real return
Platform-reported ROAS tends to over-attribute. When you need the true picture, the Store & Business view's MER (store revenue ÷ total ad spend) and CPO (ad spend ÷ Shopify orders) are attribution-independent.
Save a KPI layout per view
Add the KPIs you review most, then Salva layout. Each view keeps its own selection.
FAQ
What is Analytics V2 in Wevion?
Analytics V2 is the current version of Wevion's /analytics page. It organizes performance into two views — Advertising for platform-attributed paid metrics and Store & Business for blended MER-centric metrics that combine store revenue with ad spend. Both share one controls bar and a configurable KPI grid, and it is enabled by default via the ANALYTICS_V2_ENABLED flag.
What is the difference between the Advertising and Store & Business views?
The Advertising view shows paid-media metrics attributed by each ad platform, such as ROAS, CPM, CTR and CPA per account. The Store & Business view blends your Shopify store revenue with total ad spend to show attribution-independent metrics like MER, CPO, AOV and refunds, plus a site funnel. Use Advertising to optimize campaigns and Store & Business to judge real return.
How do I switch views in Wevion Analytics V2?
Use the mode toggle pill at the top left of the /analytics page. It switches between Advertising and Store & Business. Each view keeps its own KPI grid selection, and the Store selector only appears while you are in the Store & Business view.
Can I go back to the old analytics layout?
Analytics V2 is on by default. It is controlled by the ANALYTICS_V2_ENABLED flag, and an administrator can set VITE_ANALYTICS_V2_ENABLED=false to fall back to the legacy analytics page during an emergency rollback. For normal use, V2 is the supported experience.
