The Wevion trial is 14 days. A card is collected up front but you're not charged during the trial. With a card on file your plan starts automatically at day 14; with no card the account drops to the Free plan.
What happens when your trial ends
Your trial is 14 days of full Wevion access. A card is collected at checkout to start the trial, but you're not charged during the 14 days. Pick a plan before day 14 β subscription starts immediately, no interruption. Do nothing β if a card is on file your plan starts automatically at day 14; if no card is on file the account drops to the Free plan (a usable, capped tier). You can subscribe to a paid plan at any time.
Who is this for
Trial users approaching day 14 and trying to figure out what to do (or what will happen if they do nothing).
The trial β what's included
For 14 days you get full Wevion access:
- All ad-platform connections (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Taboola, Snapchat, Outbrain)
- Campaign Creator (Express + Pro), Bulk Launch
- Rules Engine, Cross-Channel Analytics
- Creative Hub with an AI Credits allowance for trial generation
- Wavo (the AI assistant), including action capabilities
- A starting seat allowance (visible at
/settings/team/billing) - An ad-spend-tracked cap (crossing 110% of it sets the workspace read-only; it does NOT cap your actual Meta/Google ad spending)
To start the trial you go through Stripe checkout, which collects a card up front. You are not charged during the 14-day trial β the card is only used to convert you to a paid plan when the trial ends (unless you cancel or have no card on file).
The 14-day countdown
The trial countdown is visible:
- Header badge: "Trial β N days left" (top right of every page)
- Email reminders: at day 7 and day 1 before expiry
- Telegram alerts: at day 7 and day 1 (if Telegram bot connected)
- In-app banner: top of dashboard, dismissable but reappears the next day
Two paths at day 14
Path A: You picked a plan during the trial
If you subscribed at any point in those 14 days:
- Trial ends silently the moment your subscription activates
- No interruption β dashboards, campaigns, automations all keep working
- First charge happens on the day you subscribed (not day 14)
- Renewal date = subscription day + cycle length
This is the smooth path. See start your subscription for the checkout flow.
Path B: You didn't pick a paid plan
What happens at day 14 depends on whether a card is on file:
- Card on file (the normal case, since checkout collects a card at trial start): Stripe charges the card and your chosen plan starts automatically β no interruption.
- No card on file (dormant no-card path): the trial cancels cleanly and the account drops to the Free plan β a usable, capped tier, not a read-only hard-block. You keep logging in and working within Free's limits, and can subscribe to a paid plan any time.
In the Free-drop case:
- You can still log in and use Wevion within the Free plan's quotas
- Existing campaigns continue running on the ad platforms β Wevion does NOT pause them automatically
- The
had_trialflag stays set, so the 14-day trial is not granted again
What the Free plan looks like at day 14
When a no-card trial ends, the account moves to the Free plan β a usable, capped tier, not a read-only lockout:
On the Free plan you can still:
- Log in and use Wevion within the Free plan's quotas
- View your historical reports + analytics
- Export what you need (CSV reports, audit logs)
- Keep receiving sync from connected ad platforms (so reports stay current)
Your data is retained while you're on Free β there is no automatic deletion tied to trial expiry. (If you want to remove your workspace, use account deletion.)
What happens to your active ad campaigns
Nothing changes on the ad platforms. Your Meta, Google, TikTok, Taboola, Snapchat, and Outbrain campaigns continue running according to their last state when the trial ended. Spend continues, ads serve, the platforms bill you directly.
What changes if you're on Free (rather than a paid plan) is that:
- Some campaign-management actions are limited by the Free plan's quotas
- Wevion's rules may not fire under Free limits (no auto-pause, no auto-scale)
- Wavo's action capabilities follow the Free plan's limits
If you want to pause / stop your campaigns, do it manually in Wevion, or use the native ad managers anytime.
How to extend the trial
Trial extensions are possible for genuine evaluation cases (mid-procurement, multi-team review):
- Contact
support@wevion.aibefore trial expiry - Explain the reason
- Support typically grants 7-14 day extensions when justified
Not granted: repeat trials on the same email, "I forgot to subscribe", etc.
Subscribing after the trial (from Free)
Upgrading from Free to a paid plan is the same as subscribing before trial end:
- Open Settings β Team β Billing
- Pick a plan
- Complete Stripe checkout
- Full access restores within 30-60 seconds (webhook delay)
All your data, settings, audiences, creatives, rules are intact. You just resume where you left off.
Common questions
- "My trial ended but the badge still shows Trial": webhook delay. Refresh after 60s.
- "Will my team still be invited after trial end?": existing members remain; adding new members follows the limits of the plan you're on (Free or paid).
- "Can I see my invoices from the trial?": there are no invoices for the trial (no charges). After you start paying, your billing history starts from the first paid charge.
- "Will my ad campaigns pause automatically?": No. Wevion does not pause your ads when the trial ends. You're responsible for your own ad spending.
- "Can I delete my workspace after the trial?": Yes β see account deletion.
FAQ
How long is the Wevion trial?
The Wevion trial is 14 days of full access, including all ad-platform connections, Campaign Creator, the Rules Engine, Cross-Channel Analytics, Creative Hub, and Wavo. Starting the trial goes through Stripe checkout, which collects a card up front, but you're not charged during the 14 days. A header badge, email and Telegram reminders, and an in-app banner track the countdown.
What happens if I don't subscribe to a paid plan before day 14?
It depends on the payment method: if a card is on file (the normal case, since checkout collects one at trial start), Stripe charges it and your plan starts automatically. If no card is on file, the trial cancels cleanly and the account drops to the Free plan β a usable, capped tier rather than a read-only lockout. You can subscribe to a paid plan at any time.
Will Wevion pause my ad campaigns when the trial ends?
No. Wevion does not pause your ads when the trial ends. Your Meta, Google, TikTok, Taboola, Snapchat, and Outbrain campaigns continue running in their last state, spend continues, and the platforms bill you directly. To stop them, pause manually in Wevion before trial end or use the native ad managers anytime.
Do I lose my data if my trial ends and I don't subscribe?
No. When a no-card trial ends, the account drops to the Free plan and your data is retained β all your settings, audiences, creatives, and rules stay intact. Subscribing to a paid plan at any time restores full access within 30-60 seconds of Stripe checkout. There is no automatic data deletion tied to trial expiry; deletion only happens if you explicitly delete your workspace (see account deletion).
Can I extend my Wevion trial?
Trial extensions are possible for genuine evaluation cases, such as mid-procurement or multi-team review. Contact support@wevion.ai before your trial expires and explain the reason; support typically grants 7-14 day extensions when justified. Extensions are not granted for repeat trials on the same email or "I forgot to subscribe".
