Wevion's standalone Analytics budget-recommendation block was retired; guidance now lives in Strategic Intelligence and Budget Pools / AI Operations.

Budget allocation — where it lives now

Wevion Analytics no longer shows a standalone rule-based budget recommendation block. Budget allocation is now handled in two purpose-built places: Strategic Intelligence → Channel mix gives you suggested budget shifts across platforms, and Budget Pools / AI Operations lets Wevion manage and rebalance budgets. Inside Analytics itself, you make allocation calls by reading the Advertising view's Spend × ROAS scatter and the Store & Business view's MER, CPO and TACoS. This article points you to the right tool.

Who is this for

Mediabuyers and admins deciding how to split spend across platforms and accounts.

Make the call inside Analytics

Analytics gives you the evidence for an allocation decision:

  • Spend × ROAS scatter (Advertising) — see which platforms return well at their current spend; a platform in the top-left (high ROAS, low spend) is under-invested, one in the bottom-right (high spend, low ROAS) is over-invested. See an-107.
  • Performance per account table (Advertising) — compare accounts within and across platforms. See an-108.
  • MER, CPO, TACoS (Store & Business) — the blended, attribution-independent truth about whether spend is growing the business.

Read platform ROAS as a signal, but confirm with MER before shifting real money — platform attribution over-counts.

Get a suggested reallocation: Strategic Intelligence

For an explicit "shift budget from A to B" recommendation, use Strategic Intelligence → Channel mix. It compares your current allocation to a suggested split and surfaces the moves worth making, alongside audience-saturation and seasonal signals that pure ROAS doesn't capture. See int-102 Strategic Intelligence.

Let Wevion manage budgets: Budget Pools / AI Operations

To go beyond a one-off suggestion, Budget Pools / AI Operations lets you pool budgets and have Wevion rebalance them toward performance under your guardrails. See rul-119 Budget Pools / AI Operations.

Apply changes gradually

However you decide, apply large shifts over several days rather than all at once. Ad auctions (Meta, Google, and others) react poorly to abrupt budget changes — bids spike and delivery destabilises. Spreading a big move across a few days keeps performance stable.

What changed

  • The old in-dashboard budget recommendation block (a rule-based getOptimalMixRecommendation panel gated by the Cross-Channel feature flag) has been retired from Analytics.
  • Strategic reallocation guidance moved to Strategic Intelligence, which considers more than ROAS alone (saturation, seasonality).
  • Automated budget management lives in Budget Pools / AI Operations.

FAQ

Does Wevion Analytics still have a budget recommendation block?

No. The standalone rule-based budget-recommendation panel that used to sit inside the old Cross-Channel Analytics view has been retired. Budget allocation guidance now lives in Strategic Intelligence's Channel mix tab, which suggests reallocations, and in Budget Pools / AI Operations, which can manage budgets for you. Within Analytics, you make the call yourself using the Spend × ROAS scatter and blended MER.

Where do I get a suggested budget reallocation in Wevion?

Open Strategic Intelligence and use the Channel mix tab. It compares your current allocation across platforms to a suggested split and highlights the moves worth making, together with audience-saturation and seasonal context that a pure ROAS rule would miss. Strategic Intelligence is available by default (it runs under Wevion's AI Native capability).

How should I use Analytics to decide budget splits?

Use the Advertising view's Spend × ROAS scatter to see which platforms earn their spend, and the Performance per account table to compare accounts. Then confirm against the Store & Business view's MER, CPO, and TACoS, which measure real business return independent of platform attribution. Platform ROAS tends to overstate, so let MER be the tiebreaker before you move money.

Can Wevion rebalance budgets automatically?

Yes — through Budget Pools / AI Operations, where you pool budgets and let Wevion shift them toward better-performing entities within the guardrails you set. This is separate from Analytics, which is read-only. Whether you act manually or automatically, apply large shifts gradually so ad auctions don't destabilise.
