Start your subscription
Open Settings → Team → Billing (or
/pricingif you don't have a workspace yet), pick a plan, complete Stripe-hosted checkout. If you're on trial, the trial ends and the plan starts immediately — your data and settings carry over.
Who is this for
Workspace owners and admins ready to move from trial to paid, or upgrade an existing subscription. You need owner or admin role with billing permission.
Before you start
- A clear pick on which plan fits your usage — see Wevion plans explained
- A valid card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) — checkout collects a card payment method (a card is required even for the €0 trial)
- Decision on billing interval (monthly or annual — annual usually discounted)
- Billing address with VAT number (B2B EU) ready
How to subscribe
Step 1: Open the billing page
In the sidebar click Settings → Team → Billing, or jump to /settings/team/billing. You see your current trial status (if applicable) and the plan picker cards.
Step 2: Pick a plan and interval
Toggle Monthly or Annual at the top of the plan cards. Each card shows features and price for the selected interval. Click Select [plan name].
Step 3: Complete checkout
A Stripe-hosted checkout page opens (Wevion never sees your card details). Enter:
- Card payment method (a card is required, even to start the free trial)
- Billing email (where Stripe sends receipts)
- Billing address + VAT number (if B2B EU)
- Confirm 3D Secure (3DS) challenge if your bank requires it
Click Subscribe. If you're starting a trial, Stripe saves the card and charges at trial end; otherwise it processes the first charge immediately.
Step 4: Return to Wevion
You're redirected back to /settings/team/billing (or /onboarding on first setup) with a checkout session ID. The subscription record is updated from the Stripe webhook — there is no separate /verify page.
Step 5: Wait for full activation
Stripe sends a webhook to Wevion within 30-60 seconds confirming the subscription is fully active. During this window the UI may show a brief "Activating..." state. Refresh after 60 seconds if the badge doesn't flip from Trial → your plan name.
What you'll see
After successful activation:
- Workspace badge changes from Trial to Free / Starter / Pro / Plus / Enterprise
- Trial countdown disappears from the header
- Plan name + renewal date appear in
/settings/team/billingheader - AI Credits meter reflects the new plan's weekly grant
- Seat pool shows new plan's allowance
- An invoice email arrives at the billing email within 1-2 minutes
- A confirmation toast: "Subscription activated"
Trial conversion specifics
If you subscribe during the trial:
- Trial ends silently the moment your subscription activates
- First charge happens immediately for the chosen plan
- No data loss, no campaign interruption
- Renewal date = activation date + 1 month (or +1 year for annual)
If you wait until trial expiry:
- If a card is on file, Stripe charges it at trial end and the plan starts automatically
- If no card is on file, the trial cancels cleanly and the account drops to the Free plan (not a hard lockout) — subscribe any time to move up
- Subscribing after expiry restores/raises access immediately
- Renewal date = activation date

Common issues
- Card declined: most often a 3DS challenge missed or insufficient funds. Stripe shows the exact decline reason. Retry with a different card or contact your bank.
- "Subscription activating..." stuck for >2 minutes: webhook delay. Refresh the page. If still stuck after 5 minutes, contact support — your subscription is created on Stripe even if Wevion didn't sync yet.
- Wrong currency on checkout: Stripe charges in USD or EUR depending on your signup region. Currency cannot be changed post-signup without Sales involvement.
- VAT not applied: enter VAT number in checkout's billing details. If you entered without VAT and need to add it, do so in Stripe Customer Portal post-checkout — applies to next invoice.
- Annual selected but charged monthly amount: rare. Check Stripe receipt — if there's a mismatch, contact support immediately, refund + correct subscription is fast.
Pre-paying multiple months on monthly plan
Not directly supported in the public checkout. If you need to prepay (corporate budget reasons), switch to annual billing — it's the equivalent of 12 months prepaid.
Switching from a competitor
If you're migrating from another ad management tool, you can run both in parallel during the Wevion trial (Wevion only reads from your ad accounts; no conflict). Once you're confident, cancel the other tool and subscribe to Wevion.
FAQ
Does Wevion see my card details during checkout?
No — Wevion never sees your card details. When you click Select on a plan, a Stripe-hosted checkout page opens where you enter your card, billing email, and billing address directly with Stripe (checkout collects a card; a card is required even for the free trial). Stripe charges immediately for a paid start, or saves the card and charges at trial end for a trial, then returns you to Wevion where the subscription activates from the Stripe webhook.
Will I lose data if I subscribe during the trial?
No — if you subscribe during the Wevion trial, the trial ends silently the moment your subscription activates, with no data loss and no campaign interruption. The first charge happens immediately for the chosen plan, and your renewal date is set to the activation date plus one month (or plus one year for annual billing).
How long until my subscription is fully active?
