Adding Extra Team Member Slots

If your team has grown beyond your plan's included user limit, you can purchase additional slots without upgrading your entire plan.

Prerequisites

  • An active Wevion subscription (not in trial)
  • Owner role
  • A valid payment method on file

How It Works

Each Wevion plan includes a set number of team members:

Starter 2 €99/month per slot
Professional 5 €99/month per slot
Enterprise 15 €99/month per slot

Extra user slots are billed as a separate line item on your existing subscription. They appear on your invoice alongside your plan charge.

How Billing Works for Extra Slots

  • Extra slots are charged at €99/month per slot regardless of your billing interval
  • Charges are prorated — if you add a slot mid-cycle, you're charged for the remaining days only
  • Removing a slot stops billing from the next billing cycle (no refund for the current period)
  • Extra slots are managed as a separate Stripe subscription item

Step-by-Step Guide

Adding Extra User Slots

  1. Navigate to Billing in the left sidebar
  2. Look for the Extra Users or Team Members section in the Usage area
  3. Click Add Extra User Slot
  4. A confirmation dialog will appear:
    • "An extra user slot costs €99/month and will be added to your next invoice. Are you sure you want to add one?"
  5. Click Add Slot to confirm
  6. The slot is added immediately — you can now invite one more team member
  7. The charge appears on your next invoice

Adding Multiple Slots

If you need to add several slots at once:

  1. Navigate to Billing
  2. Click Add Extra User Slot
  3. Enter the number of slots you want to add
  4. Confirm the purchase
  5. All slots are activated immediately

Removing Extra User Slots

When you no longer need the extra capacity:

  1. Navigate to Billing
  2. Find the extra user slots section
  3. Click Remove Extra User Slot
  4. A confirmation dialog will appear:
    • "The slot will be removed and you will no longer be charged for it starting from the next billing cycle. No refund will be issued for the current period."
  5. Click Remove Slot to confirm
  6. The slot is removed at the end of the current billing cycle

Important: You cannot remove a slot if doing so would exceed your user limit. Deactivate team members first to bring your count within limits.

Checking Your Current Usage

  1. Navigate to Billing > Usage
  2. The Team Members row shows:
    • Current member count (including owner)
    • Maximum allowed (plan limit + extra slots)
    • A progress bar showing utilization

FAQ

Is it cheaper to upgrade my plan instead of buying extra slots? It depends on how many slots you need. For example:

  • Professional plan (5 users) at €199/mo + 2 extra slots at €198/mo = €397/mo
  • Enterprise plan (15 users) at €499/mo = €499/mo
  • If you need 3+ extra slots on Professional, upgrading to Enterprise may be more cost-effective

Can I add slots during my trial? Extra team member slots can only be purchased after activating a paid subscription. They are not available during the free trial period.

Do extra slots carry over if I change plans? Extra slots are maintained when you change plans. However, if the new plan already includes enough users, you may want to remove the extra slots to avoid unnecessary charges.

What happens if I remove a slot but still have that many team members? You cannot remove a slot if it would put you over the user limit. Deactivate team members first, then remove the slot.

Are extra slots billed annually if I'm on an annual plan? Extra slots are billed monthly, regardless of your main plan's billing interval.
