Managing AI Jobs — Status and Download

Last updated: April 18, 2026

Every AI generation request in Wevion -- images, videos, avatars, voiceovers, and composites -- runs as an asynchronous job. You submit it, and the platform processes it in the background while you keep working. The Jobs Panel is where you monitor progress, download finished assets, and handle failures.

Prerequisites

Note: You only see your own jobs. Team members cannot view each other's generation history unless they have admin-level access.

Accessing the Jobs Panel

The Jobs Panel is embedded inside the AI Generation dialog -- no separate page needed.

  1. Navigate to Creative Hub from the sidebar.
  2. Open the AI Generation Panel (magic wand icon in the toolbar).
  3. Scroll below the generation form. The Jobs section shows your most recent requests.

Each row shows the job type (VIDEO, AVATAR, TTS, IMAGE, or COMPOSITE), the AI provider, the original prompt, credit cost, and current status. Click the refresh icon next to "Jobs" to reload manually.

Automatic refresh: When any job is pending or processing, the panel refreshes every 5 seconds automatically.

Job Statuses

Every job passes through a defined lifecycle. There are four possible statuses:

Pending

Icon: Clock (gray)

The job has been created and is waiting in the processing queue. This is the initial state immediately after you click Generate. Pending typically lasts a few seconds; during high-demand periods it may take up to a minute.

What you should do: Nothing. The job moves to processing automatically.

Processing

Icon: Spinning loader (blue)

The AI engine is actively generating your content. Processing time depends on the content type and provider:

Content Type Typical Duration
Image 5--15 seconds
TTS (voiceover) 5--20 seconds
Video (5s clip) 30--90 seconds
Video (10s clip) 60--180 seconds
Avatar (UGC video) 2--5 minutes
Composite video 30--120 seconds

What you should do: Wait. You can close the panel and keep working -- the job continues in the background.

Completed

Icon: Green checkmark

The job finished successfully. Your generated asset is ready to view and download. The completed row shows the cost charged (in credits), the timestamp, and a View Result link.

What you should do: Click View Result to open the generated asset, or download it to your local machine. If you specified a Google Drive folder when submitting the job, the asset is also available in your Creative Hub file browser. See the Downloading Completed Assets section below.

Failed

Icon: Red X

The job did not complete successfully. When a job fails, the row displays the error message. Common causes include:

  • Content policy violation -- The prompt or generated content was flagged by the AI provider's safety filters. Revise your prompt and try again.
  • Provider timeout -- The AI engine did not respond within the allowed time. This is usually temporary; retry after a few minutes.
  • Rate limit exceeded -- Too many requests were sent to the provider in a short period. Wait a moment and retry.
  • Insufficient credits -- Your AI credit balance was depleted during processing. Top up your credits and resubmit. Understanding AI Credits

What you should do: Read the error message, address the underlying issue, and submit a new generation request with corrected parameters. See Retrying Failed Jobs below.

Failed jobs do not consume credits. Credits are charged only on successful generation.

Viewing Job Details

Each job row displays:

  • Type and Provider -- e.g., "VIDEO -- luma_ray3", "AVATAR -- heygen", "TTS -- elevenlabs".
  • Prompt/Script -- Your original text, truncated if long.
  • Credit Cost -- In dollar format (e.g., $0.15). Shown for completed jobs and jobs charged before failing.
  • Result Link -- "View Result" appears only for completed jobs with output files.

Downloading Completed Assets

There are two ways to access a completed asset:

Option 1: Direct Download via View Result

  1. Find the completed job in the Jobs Panel.
  2. Click the View Result link (external link icon).
  3. The asset opens in a new browser tab. Right-click to save, or use your browser's download function.

Option 2: Google Drive Integration

If you selected a destination folder before submitting the request, the completed asset is automatically saved to your Google Drive folder in Creative Hub. Browse to that folder to preview, download, rename, or use the file in campaigns.

Note: If no destination folder was specified at generation time, the asset is only available via the direct View Result link.

Retrying Failed Jobs

There is no one-click "retry" button. To regenerate after a failure:

  1. Read the error message on the failed job.
  2. Switch to the appropriate generation tab (Video, Avatar, TTS, or Composite).
  3. Adjust your prompt or settings based on the error.
  4. Click Generate to submit a new job.

Common fixes:

  • Content policy errors: Rephrase your prompt. Remove references to brands, public figures, or sensitive topics.
  • Timeout errors: Try a shorter duration or a different provider.
  • Rate limit errors: Wait 30--60 seconds before resubmitting.
  • Credit errors: Top up your balance. Understanding AI Credits

Tip: Failed jobs do not consume credits. Credits are charged only on successful generation. In rare cases where processing partially completed, the charged amount is shown on the job row.

Job History

The panel shows your 10 most recent jobs. Older jobs scroll off the visible list but remain stored. You can filter by type (e.g., only video or TTS) or by status (e.g., only failed) to locate specific jobs.

The Jobs Panel displays your most recent jobs. Filtering by type or status is available through the interface.

Jobs are retained indefinitely, but result download links may expire depending on the AI provider's storage policy. For permanent retention, always save to your Google Drive folder.

Best practice: Specify a Google Drive destination folder when generating content. This ensures completed assets are permanently stored in your Creative Hub file library.

FAQ

Q: Can I cancel a job that is pending or processing? A: No. Once a job is submitted, it runs to completion or failure. If you submitted a job by mistake, wait for it to finish and disregard the result.

Q: How long do download links remain active? A: Retention periods vary by AI provider. For permanent storage, always save completed assets to your Google Drive folder.

Q: Can I see jobs from other team members? A: No. The panel shows only your own requests. Team admins can view job activity through backoffice logs.

Q: Why is my job stuck on "pending"? A: The queue is likely under heavy load. If a job stays pending for more than 5 minutes, refresh the panel. If it persists, contact support.

Q: Do failed jobs count against my credit balance? A: Generally no. Credits are charged only on successful generation. In rare cases where processing partially completed, the charged amount is shown on the job row.

Q: What happens if I close the browser while a job is processing? A: The job continues on the server. Reopen the Generation Panel later to see the updated status.
