Deleting Your Account
Last updated: April 18, 2026
If you need to permanently remove your Wevion account, this article explains the process, what happens to your data, and important considerations before proceeding.
Prerequisites
- An active Wevion account
- Access to your registered email address
How It Works
Account deletion permanently removes your user profile and personal data from Wevion. This is an irreversible action — once completed, your account cannot be recovered.
Before deleting your account, consider whether you might need access in the future. You can alternatively:
- Cancel your subscription to stop being charged while keeping your account (see Canceling Your Subscription)
- Deactivate instead of delete, if you're a team member
What Gets Deleted
| Data | Deleted? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Your user profile | Yes | Name, email, personal settings |
| Login credentials | Yes | Password hash, authentication records |
| Connected Meta tokens | Yes | OAuth tokens are revoked |
| Notification preferences | Yes | Telegram link, notification settings |
| Team membership | Yes | Removed from all teams |
What Happens to Campaign Data
- If you're an Owner: Team member data remains accessible. Your own campaign data, ad account connections, and insights are removed.
- If you're a Media Buyer: Your campaign data within the owner's workspace may be retained for the owner's reporting purposes, but your personal profile is deleted.
Important: Wevion does not delete data from Meta/Facebook. Your campaigns, ad accounts, and creatives on Meta's platform are unaffected by deleting your Wevion account.
Step-by-Step Guide
Before You Delete — Checklist
- Export any data you need: Download reports and campaign data before deletion
- Cancel your subscription first: If you're an Owner, cancel your subscription to stop billing (see Canceling Your Subscription)
- Transfer ownership: If you have team members, transfer workspace ownership first (see Transferring Workspace Ownership)
- Disconnect Meta accounts: Optionally remove Wevion from your Facebook Apps settings
- Unlink Telegram: Send
/unlinkto @wevion_bot if you have Telegram connected
