Customizing Notification Preferences
Last updated: April 18, 2026
Control which notifications you receive, on which channels, and how often. This article covers all available notification settings in Wevion.
Prerequisites
- An active Wevion account
- For Telegram notifications: a linked Telegram account (see Connecting Telegram for Real-Time Alerts)
How It Works
Wevion delivers notifications through three channels:
| Channel | How It Works | Customizable? |
|---|---|---|
| In-app | Shown in the Notification Center (bell icon) | Always on — cannot be disabled |
| Sent to your registered email | System-triggered for critical events | |
| Telegram | Sent via @wevion_bot | Fully customizable per alert type |
In-app notifications are always generated for all event types. Email notifications are sent automatically for specific system events (see Email Notifications). Telegram notifications offer the most granular control — you can toggle each alert type individually.

FAQ
Can I disable in-app notifications? No. In-app notifications are always active and appear in the Notification Center. You can mark them as read or delete them.
Can I customize email notifications? Email notifications are system-triggered and cannot be individually configured. They cover critical events like payment failures, trial expiration, and password changes. See Email Notifications.
Will I receive duplicate notifications on Telegram and in-app? Yes, by design. In-app notifications always fire, and if you have Telegram enabled for that alert type, you'll also receive a Telegram message. This ensures you don't miss important events.
Can different team members have different notification preferences? Yes. Each user has their own independent Telegram preferences. Your settings don't affect other team members.
What happens if I unlink Telegram? All Telegram notifications stop immediately. Your preferences are preserved — if you relink later, your previous settings will be restored.
