Connecting Telegram for Real-Time Alerts

Connect your Telegram account to Wevion to receive real-time notifications about your campaigns, accounts, and billing directly in Telegram.
Prerequisites
- An active Wevion account
- A Telegram account (download Telegram from telegram.org if you don't have one)
- Access to the Telegram app on your phone or desktop
How It Works
Wevion integrates with Telegram through @wevion_bot. Once linked, the bot sends you notifications based on your preferences — from campaign approvals to payment alerts. You can configure exactly which alert types you want to receive.
The linking process uses a one-time token that expires after 15 minutes:
- You request a link token from Wevion
- You send the token to @wevion_bot on Telegram
- The bot verifies the token and links your accounts
- Notifications start flowing immediately
Step-by-Step Guide
Linking Your Telegram Account
- Navigate to Settings or the Telegram section in your Wevion sidebar
- Click Link Telegram Account
- A token will be displayed along with instructions
- Open Telegram on your phone or desktop
- Search for @wevion_bot or click the link provided in Wevion
- Send the token to the bot as a message (e.g.,
/start YOUR_TOKEN) - The bot will confirm the link: "Account linked successfully!"
- Return to Wevion — the Telegram section should now show "Linked" status with your Telegram username
Important: The token expires after 15 minutes. If it expires, simply click "Link Telegram Account" again to generate a new one.
Verifying the Connection
- Navigate to the Telegram section in Wevion
- Check the connection status:
- Linked: Shows your Telegram username and the date you linked
- Not linked: Shows the "Link Telegram Account" button
- You can also send
/statusto @wevion_bot to verify the connection from Telegram's side
Unlinking Your Telegram Account
- Navigate to the Telegram section in Wevion
- Click Unlink
- Confirm the action
- Notifications will stop immediately
- You can also send
/unlinkto @wevion_bot in Telegram to unlink from there
Configuring Alert Preferences
After linking, customize which notifications you receive:
- Navigate to the Telegram section > Preferences
- Toggle each alert type on or off:

FAQ
Can I link multiple Telegram accounts? No. Each Wevion user can link one Telegram account. If you need to change the linked account, unlink the current one first, then link the new one.
Will I receive notifications from all team members or just my own? You only receive notifications for events related to your own data and the accounts you manage. Owners may receive additional notifications about team-wide events.
What if I block the bot accidentally?
If you block @wevion_bot in Telegram, notifications will stop. Unblock the bot and send /start to resume receiving alerts.
Is there a delay in notifications? Notifications are delivered in near real-time. Telegram messages typically arrive within seconds of the event occurring in Wevion.
Can I mute the bot temporarily? You can mute the @wevion_bot chat in Telegram without unlinking. Notifications will still be sent but won't trigger sound alerts. To stop notifications entirely, toggle off all alert types in Wevion preferences.
Do I need to keep the Wevion app open for Telegram notifications? No. Telegram notifications are server-side — they're sent regardless of whether you're logged in to Wevion.
