What happens when your trial ends

Your trial is 14 days of full Wevion access. Pick a plan before day 14 → subscription starts immediately, no interruption. Skip → workspace shifts to read-only for 30 days, then data is scheduled for deletion unless you subscribe.

Who is this for

Trial users approaching day 14 and trying to figure out what to do (or what will happen if they do nothing).

The trial — what's included

For 14 days you get full Wevion access:

  • All ad-platform connections (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Taboola, Snapchat)

  • Campaign Creator (Express + Pro), Bulk Launch

  • Rules Engine, Cross-Channel Analytics

  • Creative Hub with an AI Credits allowance for trial generation

  • Wavo (the AI assistant), including action capabilities

  • A starting seat allowance (visible at /settings/team/billing)

  • An ad-spend-tracked cap (visibility only — does NOT cap your actual Meta/Google ad spending)

No credit card required to start the trial — you only enter payment details when you subscribe.

The 14-day countdown

The trial countdown is visible:

  • Header badge: "Trial — N days left" (top right of every page)

  • Email reminders: at day 7 and day 1 before expiry

  • Telegram alerts: at day 7 and day 1 (if Telegram bot connected)

  • In-app banner: top of dashboard, dismissable but reappears the next day

Two paths at day 14

Path A: You picked a plan during the trial

If you subscribed at any point in those 14 days:

  • Trial ends silently the moment your subscription activates

  • No interruption — dashboards, campaigns, automations all keep working

  • First charge happens on the day you subscribed (not day 14)

  • Renewal date = subscription day + cycle length

Path B: You didn't pick a plan

If day 14 arrives without an active subscription:

  • Workspace shifts to read-only mode

  • You can still log in

  • You can still see dashboards, campaigns, reports, analytics

  • You cannot launch new campaigns, edit existing ones, edit rules, or use Wavo for actions

  • Existing campaigns continue running on the ad platforms — Wevion does NOT pause them automatically

  • Email + Telegram alerts cease

  • 7 and 30 day reminders nudge you to subscribe

The 30-day read-only window

You have 30 days after trial expiry to subscribe and restore full access:

During the read-only window you can still:

  • View all historical reports + analytics

  • Export anything you need (CSV reports, audit logs)

  • Continue receiving sync from connected ad platforms (so reports stay current)

If you do nothing for 30 days, the data is queued for deletion and the workspace is permanently retired.

What happens to your active ad campaigns

Nothing changes on the ad platforms. Your Meta, Google, TikTok, Taboola, Snapchat campaigns continue running according to their last state when the trial ended. Spend continues, ads serve, the platforms bill you directly.

What changes is that:

  • You can't modify those campaigns through Wevion (need to go to each native ad manager)

  • Wevion's rules don't fire (no auto-pause, no auto-scale)

  • Wavo can't take actions (only answer questions)

If you want to pause / stop your campaigns before going into read-only mode, do it manually in Wevion before trial end, or use the native ad managers anytime.

How to extend the trial

Trial extensions are possible for genuine evaluation cases (mid-procurement, multi-team review):

  • Contact support@wevion.ai before trial expiry

  • Explain the reason

  • Support typically grants 7-14 day extensions when justified

Not granted: repeat trials on the same email, "I forgot to subscribe", etc.

Subscribing during the read-only window

Same as subscribing before trial end:

  • Open Settings → Team → Billing

  • Pick a plan

  • Complete Stripe checkout

  • Full access restores within 30-60 seconds (webhook delay)

All your data, settings, audiences, creatives, rules are intact. You just resume where you left off.

Subscribing AFTER 30-day window (day 45+)

You can still create a new subscription, but:

  • The original workspace's data may already be deleted

  • You may need to start fresh (re-connect ad accounts, re-import data)

  • Contact support if you have specific data you hope to recover — best-effort only

What you'll see during read-only

  • A persistent red banner at the top: "Trial expired — subscribe to restore full access"

  • All edit buttons greyed out with a tooltip explaining the reason

  • Wavo replies normally to questions but refuses actions with a clear message

  • Notifications and digest emails stop

Common questions

  • "My trial ended but the badge still shows Trial": webhook delay. Refresh after 60s.

  • "Will my team still be invited after trial end?": existing members remain, but you can't add new ones in read-only.

  • "Can I see my invoices from the trial?": there are no invoices for the trial (no charges). After subscribing, your billing history starts from the first paid charge.

  • "Will my ad campaigns pause automatically?": No. Wevion does not pause your ads when the trial ends. You're responsible for your own ad spending.

  • "Can I delete my workspace during the read-only window?": Yes — see account deletion. Or just let the 30 days pass for automatic deletion.
